ANNEXURE A
INSTRUCTIONS TO DOWNLOAD THE ESTUARY SOLUTIONS
OTS TRADING PRORAMME

Go to www.celeritytrading.co.za |
|
Go to “Download the OTS” (2nd
blue tab from right) |
|
If you are running Windows XP,
you can ignore the instructions to download the Microsoft
Installer and carry on |
|
If you are running Windows 95,
98 or ME family, download the Microsoft Installer
for Win9X. If you are running Windows NT, download
the Microsoft Installer for Windows NT. |
|
To do the download, just click on continue
on the right hand side of the screen |
|
Read the instructions and download. |
|
Once you have downloaded the Installer,
you can download the Estuary Solutions OTS |
|
>GO to the “Downloads page”
again and click on continue next
to Estuary Solutions OTS |
|
Read the instructions and download |
|
To log in: go to Start, Programmes, Estuary,
OTS (Alternatively find “Estuary” under your
Program Files) |
|
A grey screen will appear, double click
on the computer icon in the top left corner |
|

Once your password has been loaded and you have logged
in, click on ‘Windows’
(top left) and click on ‘Futures’.
This will enable you to see the futures screen.
In order to view any depth screen,
right click on the relevant contract, click
on ‘Depth’.
To change the order of the futures contracts
in your Futures window, click on the contract that you
would like to move (it will become yellow) and drag
it to where you would like it to be, release mouse button.
To logout, just close the screen.

After having installed the SGN OTS, double click
on the OTS icon, You will see the following window:
The computer in the left is used to LOGIN |

Click on the computer and the following LOGIN window
will appear.
SGN will supply you will your personal login details,
server address, port number
And any other login details you might require.
After completing all the login details, click on “LOGIN” |

This will be the next screen. ONCE YOU HAVE READ
AND UNDERSTOOD
THE DISCLAIMER, click “Accept”
|

The next screen will be blank. You are now ready
to set up your trading screen
|

First Icon – Login Icon (as we used in Getting
Started) |
|
Second Icon – View Active Orders, all your active
orders in the market. You can also suspend or cancel orders
from this tab |
|
Third Icon – View Completed Orders, all your completed
trades |
|
Fourth Icon – View Deals, all trades that you
have done in the market |
|
Fifth Icon – View Positions, view your position
in the market in the different instruments |
To open any of these tabs, click once on the icon. The
tab will open and appears below the GENERAL tab.
You can open all tabs in the same way
To close these tabs again, click on the words “ACTIVE
ORDERS”, drag to the front of the screen and close
by click the X in the right hand corner

To open the Futures window, click on WINDOWS, next
to SERVER (top left) and
select futures. The Futures window will appear below
the tabs mentioned earlier.
The SGN OTS allows you to view the first nine bids
and offers and also who the players are in the market.
All SGN bids and offers on the screen will be highlighted
green. |

To view all bids and offers: |
|
highlight the instrument eg ALSI |
|
right click – sub menu appears |
|
select depth |
|
the Depth page will appear below the Futures window |
When you first log onto the OTS, you will have all instruments
that are
traded on the exchange. In order to view only the instruments
that you are
interested in the SGN OTS allows you delete the other
instruments
|

highlight the instrument that you want to delete |

select toolbars – sub menu appears |

select controls |

the icon appears just above “last, change, time”
in the Futures window |

lick on the second from the left, which is the “delete
icon”, click and it will delete the instrument you
highlighted. |

When you want to put on a BID or Offer you have two choices
|
|
either click in the DEPTH box on the bid side (left
of the screen) or offer side
(right side) |
|
or click on the bid or offer side in the FUTURES window. |
TRIGGERED ORDERS
PROFIT / LOSS
The online trading system provide a fascility to monitor
daily profit and losses and also the overnight profit
and loss.

Click on graph on the top toolbar |
|
Click portfolio |
|
Click on the drop down arrow and select SAFEX FINANCIAL |
|
Your Safex code will appear in the box below |
|
Insert the brokerage eg. 18.70 |
|
Tick all the square white blocks and click on Recalc |
|
If any overnight position, there will be a profit/loss |
|
It will show the daily profit & loss and the brokerage |
|
Account Balance will show the current balance incl profit
/ loss |
|
Margin will show any margin balance |
|
